1974 Chevrolet C20 Custom Deluxe 454 4-Speed at No Reserve

This 1974 Chevrolet C20 Custom Deluxe pickup was purchased new by its original owner in Montana and is said to have remained in the original owner’s family and used sparingly for the last three decades. Power is provided by a 454ci V8 linked with a four-speed manual transmission, and the truck is finished in two-tone Catalina Blue and White over blue cloth. Features include Flowmaster mufflers, dual fuel tanks, power steering, 16″ white-finished steel wheels with hubcaps, an AM radio, and a heater. This C20 was purchased by the seller in 2024, and it is now offered at no reserve with service records and a clean Minnesota title in the seller’s name.

The truck left the factory finished in two-tone Catalina Blue and White, and the hood and the tops of the fenders have been refinished, although it does not perfectly match the older paint. Features include a Fleetside bed as well as a sliding rear window, dual fuel tanks, a chrome front bumper, and a tow ball. There is damage along the right side of the truck. Detailed photos of the exterior, including imperfections, are provided in the gallery.

The 16″ white-finished steel wheels feature polished hubcaps and are mounted with BFGoodrich and Cooper Super Traction tires. The truck is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by front discs and rear drums.

The bench seat is upholstered in blue and is protected by a patterned cloth cover. Interior appointments include woodgrain trim, an AM radio, a trailer brake controller, and a heater.

The two-spoke tilting steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 53k miles, approximately 600 of which were added under current ownership.

The 454ci V8 was factory rated at 230 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. Flowmaster mufflers have been installed. The seller tells us that the fuel system was refreshed, one of the fuel pumps was replaced, and the fuel tank selector switch was rebuilt under current ownership. The choke works imperfectly, and there is an exhaust leak.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
