This 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door sedan was first sold by Chase Chevrolet of Stockton, California, on February 12, 1958, and it was acquired by the current owner in 2015. Subsequent work involved installing a 350ci V8, a Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission, power-assisted front disc brakes, and power steering as well as reupholstering the interior. The car was refinished in brown under previous ownership. Additional equipment includes 15″ steel wheels with chrome covers as well as Flowmaster dual exhaust, chrome bumpers, hooded headlights, an AM radio, a split-folding front bench seat, and front lap belts. This Bel Air is now offered on consignment at no reserve by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with service records, original dealer paperwork, and a clean California title.
The car left the factory in Cay Coral (932) and was refinished in brown under previous ownership. Features include hooded headlights, a fender-mounted side mirror, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome window surrounds, bumpers, and trim.
The 15″ steel wheels wear chrome covers and are mounted with 215/75 Hankook Optimo tires. Power steering, a brake booster, and front disc brakes have been added under current ownership. The shocks have also been replaced.
The brown and beige interior was reupholstered in 2016, and work in 2025 involved replacing the carpeting, side panels, and front seat bottom foam. Interior appointments include front lap belts, an AM radio, and a heater. The dome light lens and the rear armrests are missing.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The speedometer was replaced in 2024. The five-digit odometer shows 81k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 was installed in 2017, and additional work involved cleaning and refinishing the engine bay. An Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and a replacement fuel pump were fitted in April 2025, and the starter was replaced the previous year. Additional equipment includes an Edelbrock intake manifold as well as polished valve covers and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan.
A Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission was installed under current ownership, and it was resealed and rebuilt in 2024. A Flowmaster dual exhaust system is fitted. There is a patch on the left floor pan.
