This illuminated single-sided Peugeot Motocycles sign measures approximately 37″ wide by 12.5″ tall and has an internal fluorescent bulb. The translucent face panel is finished in blue with the company logo and script in white set in a black plastic frame. The sign has 220-volt European circuitry, and a 120-volt converter is included. This illuminated Pugeot sign was acquired by the selling dealer in 2025 in Europe and subsequently imported into the US, and it is now offered at no reserve in Salem, Oregon.
In 1810, Peugeot began as a steel mill, later making coffee and pepper mills, tools, and bicycles before producing its first car in 1891. The company built its first motorcycle in 1898, and until the 1950s, Peugeot was the leading French motorcycle manufacturer.
The sign has a blue translucent panel with the company logo and script in white and is approximately 37″ wide, 12.5″ high, 5″ deep, and it weights about 10lbs. Scuffs on the sign and imperfections in the black plastic frame are captured in the gallery.
Illumination is provided by one internal fluorescent bulb, utilizing a 220-volt fixture, and a 120-volt converter is included in the sale.
The frame and back of the sign are finished in black plastic, and there is a cord for hanging the sign on the top.
