Original-Owner 1994 Toyota MR2 Turbo 5-Speed

This 1994 Toyota MR2 Turbo was acquired new by the seller in Pennsylvania, and it shows 90k miles. The car is finished in Solar Yellow over black leather and is powered by a mid-mounted turbocharged 2.0L inline-four linked to a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes the Leather Trim Package, removable glass T-top roof panels, pop-up headlights, fog lights, a rear spoiler, power steering, anti-lock brakes, 15″ alloy wheels, cruise control, and a CD/cassette stereo. Work in 2025 involved refreshing the air conditioning system and replacing the valve cover gasket and battery. This SW20 MR2 Turbo is now offered with a window sticker, service records, repair manuals, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

The car left the factory finished in Solar Yellow (576), and equipment includes removable glass T-top roof panels, pop-up headlights, fog lights, mudguards, a rear spoiler, dual side air intakes, and dual exhaust outlets. The right door panel and quarter panel were repaired in 1996, and the left front turn signal assembly and right undershield were replaced following curb damage. Rust repair was performed on the rocker panels, blemishes on the lower panels were repaired, and the lower panels were repainted in November 2025. The antenna mast was replaced in July 2025, though the antenna does not extend or retract fully. A crack on the underside of the front spoiler is visible in the photo gallery.

The 15″ five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels are mounted with mixed Dunlop and Kumho tires. The car features power steering and a four-wheel independent MacPherson strut suspension. Stopping power is provided by anti-lock disc brakes with ventilated rotors at all four corners. The brake fluid was flushed in December 2025.

The sport bucket seats are trimmed in black leather that extends to the door panels. Appointments include a seven-way adjustable driver’s seat, a lockable glovebox and rear storage box, dual door pockets, cruise control, air conditioning, and a CD/cassette stereo as well as power windows, locks, and side mirrors. The seller reports Styrofoam trunk liner padding and mesh trunk vent covers were added following rodent damage. Rodent debris was removed from the air conditioning evaporator and the system was refreshed in July 2025. Wear is noted on the seats, and scratches are visible on the glovebox door.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel is tilt-adjustable and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 9k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, turbocharger boost, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 90k miles. A November 2011 invoice lists an odometer reading of 54k miles.

The mid-mounted turbocharged 2.0L 3S-GTE inline-four produced 200 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque when new. The oil pan gasket was replaced in 2019, and the valve cover gasket and battery were replaced and the coolant was flushed in December 2025. A mesh guard has been fitted in the air intake.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Corrosion is noted on the engine bay and underside components, additional photos of which are provided in the gallery.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Bennett Toyota of Allentown, Pennsylvania, and shows factory options, equipment, and a total price of $32,101.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
