Tablets designed for creators usually end up heavy and awkward to hold for extended periods. ASUS is flipping that script with the ProArt PZ14, a Windows tablet that weighs just 0.79kg (1.74 lbs) while packing serious creative muscle.
The ProArt PZ14 runs on Snapdragon X2 Elite processors with up to 80 TOPS of NPU performance, making it a proper Copilot+ PC. That’s enough AI horsepower to handle photo editing, video work, and creative apps without breaking a sweat. You get up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 storage.
The 14-inch OLED display hits 3K resolution (2880 x 1800) with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1000 nits peak brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. At just 9mm thin, ASUS managed to fit dual super-linear speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
What makes the ProArt PZ14 different from other creator tablets is the IP52 rating for water and dust resistance. You can actually use this outdoors without panicking if it starts to drizzle. The tablet includes an 8MP IR camera up front and a 13MP 4K rear camera for reference shots.
Complete Creative Package
ASUS bundles everything you need in the box. You get a Bluetooth keyboard, cover stand, ProArt Mouse, and ASUS Pen 3.0 for drawing and note-taking. The package includes a three-month Adobe Creative Apps subscription and six months of GoPro access through StoryCube integration.
The tablet also features MuseTree, ASUS’ AI-powered creative assistant that helps with idea generation and project organization. Two USB 4.0 Type-C ports and an SD card reader handle connectivity for external drives and camera cards.
Battery life is rated for all-day use, though ASUS hasn’t specified exact hours yet. The lightweight design and efficient Snapdragon processor should deliver solid runtime for mobile creative work.
At 0.79kg, the ProArt PZ14 is light enough to hold one-handed while sketching or reviewing photos. That’s significantly lighter than most creator laptops that weigh 1.5kg or more.
ASUS hasn’t announced pricing or availability yet, but expect it to launch alongside other CES 2026 announcements in early 2026.
