LS3-Powered 1977 GMC Suburban K1500 Sierra Classic 4×4

This 1977 GMC Suburban K1500 is a Canadian-market Sierra Classic 4×4 that was acquired by the seller in 2021. Finished in Santa Fe Tan and orange over beige vinyl, the truck is powered by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 linked with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes Holley Electronic Fuel Injection, long-tube headers, a custom dual exhaust system, a 40-gallon fuel tank, automatic locking front hubs, front disc brakes, 16″ alloy wheels, a power-retractable tailgate window, chrome bumpers, bench seating, air conditioning, crank windows, and an Alpine stereo. This Suburban is offered in Ontario, Canada, with an Ontario registration in the seller’s name.

The truck was refinished under previous ownership in Santa Fe Tan (60) with orange accents. Exterior details include stainless-steel camper side mirrors, a power-retractable tailgate window, chrome bumpers, and front and rear mud flaps. The seller notes bubbles in the paint near the left rear window.

Polished 16″ alloy wheels were mounted with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires in 2025. The truck is equipped with automatic locking front hubs, and stopping power is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The front bench and folding rear bench seats are trimmed in beige vinyl. Woodgrain trim accents the dashboard and door panels, and appointments include air conditioning, crank windows, and a Bluetooth-capable Alpine stereo.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames Dakota Digital instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The replacement digital odometer indicates 638 miles.

The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 was retrofitted under current ownership and features a polished Edelbrock air cleaner, Holley EFI, a Holley intake manifold, Pertronix Flame Thrower ignition coils, long-tube headers, a custom 3″ dual exhaust system, and a 40-gallon fuel tank. The factory catalytic converter has been removed.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a rebuilt four-speed 4L80E transmission, a replacement dual-range NP205 transfer case, and front and rear differentials with 3.73:1 gearing. Additional underside photos are presented in the gallery.

The vehicle is being sold on its Ontario registration, which serves as the ownership document in Canada.
