This 1974 Datsun 260Z is a non-running project that was acquired by the seller in 1979 and was placed in long-term indoor storage in 1987. Finished in Pacific Blue over black vinyl, the car is equipped with a 2.6-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Modifications include a CarTech air cleaner and intake manifold, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, a long-tube header, a glasspack muffler, 14″ alloy wheels, auxiliary lights, rear window louvers, and an aftermarket air conditioning system. It is further equipped with front disc brakes, chrome bumpers, crank windows, and a cassette stereo. This 260Z project is offered at no reserve with owner’s and parts manuals, spare parts, and a duplicate Oklahoma title in the seller’s name.
The left fender was replaced, and the car was refinished under current ownership in Pacific Blue (307). Exterior details include chrome bumpers with rubber overriders as well as auxiliary lights, a driver-side mirror, rear window louvers, and a single exhaust outlet. The left rear overrider is missing.
The 14″ multi-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Bridgestone tires. The braking system features front discs and rear drums, and the master cylinder has been removed.
The bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl. Equipment includes a wood shift knob, an aftermarket air conditioning system, crank windows, and a cassette stereo.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. An analog clock and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, amperage, and fuel level are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer rolled over under current ownership and shows 39k miles, approximately 60k of which were added under current ownership.
