This 1992 Land Rover Defender 110 is a left-hand-drive five-door wagon that was used to travel around Europe and the Middle East under previous ownership, and it was brought to the US in 2020. The truck is finished in Nara Bronze over black cloth upholstery and is powered by a retrofitted 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline-four linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes LED exterior lighting, a winch, an air intake snorkel, extended black fender flares, rear window guards, 16” wheels, and Terrafirma suspension components as well as air conditioning, a touchscreen stereo, wooden storage compartments, and power front windows and door locks. This Defender 110 shows 292k kilometers (~181k miles) and is now offered at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean New Jersey title.
The truck was repainted in Nara Bronze and fitted with replacement doors and LED lighting in 2018. Exterior details include black graphics, checker-plate trim, a roof basket, a rear ladder, and rock sliders. There are areas of bubbling paint around the body and the front-right side marker is missing.
The 16” wheels are mounted with 305/70 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires, and a spare is secured to a swing-out carrier at the rear. Stopping power is from front discs and rear drums. Terrafirma suspension components were installed and the power steering box was replaced in 2021, according to the seller.
The cabin has been fitted with replacement seats trimmed in gray cloth, and wooden storage compartments have been added to the cargo area. Interior features include an under-dash air conditioning unit, a touchscreen stereo, auxiliary switches, and power front windows and door locks. The power windows and locks work intermittently, and the touchscreen stereo is inoperable.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 140-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. A digital voltage readout is positioned to the right. The six-digit odometer shows 292k kilometers (~181k miles), approximately 19k kilometers of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline-four was installed under previous ownership, and it sends power to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case with a locking center differential. A replacement clutch is said to have been installed in 2021, and the radiator, thermostat, water pump, starter, and fuel injectors are said to have been replaced in 2022. The seller notes that a leak from the exhaust manifold needs to be addressed.
