This 1930 Ford Model A roadster pickup was purchased as an incomplete project by the seller’s late father in 1998. It was subsequently refurbished with a Brookville Roadster replacement steel body before being inherited by the seller in 2022. The pickup is powered by a replacement, overbored 201ci L-head inline-four paired with a three-speed manual transmission and is finished in black over black vinyl. Equipment includes a black convertible top, green 19″ wire wheels, a tilt-out windshield, a side-mounted spare tire, and a wood-plank cargo bed. This Model A is now offered with records and a clean Nevada title in the seller’s name.
The replacement steel body was sourced from Brookville Roadster in July 1999. It has been finished in black and features a wood-plank cargo bed, running board step plates, a black convertible top, a tilt-out windshield, cowl lamps, and a Boyce MotoMeter radiator cap.
Green-painted 19″ wire wheels are mounted with Firestone Gum Dipped tires, and a matching spare is mounted to the left side. Braking is provided by four-wheel drums.
The cabin features a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl. The four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a speedometer, an ammeter, and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 1k miles, approximately 10 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 201ci L-head inline-four is a replacement built by Ron’s Machine Shop of Shandon, Ohio. It was bored over before being installed in 1999. The six-volt battery was replaced in 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a sliding-gear three-speed manual transmission. The flywheel was balanced and the clutch was replaced in 1999.
