32k-Mile 1982 Audi Coupe 5-Speed at No Reserve

This 1982 Audi Coupe is one of 4,201 for its model year in the US market. It was sold new by Scherz Porsche Audi in Syracuse, New York, where it was registered for more than 40 years with its second owner, who kept a handwritten log of its trips and services. The car is finished in Gobi Beige Metallic over dark brown leather, and it has a rear wiper and spoiler, 14″ alloy wheels, manual windows, cruise control, and a Blaupunkt cassette stereo. Power comes from a fuel-injected 2.1L inline-five paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. This B2 coupe shows just 32k miles and is offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with the 30-page log, owner’s and repair manuals, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title.

Compared with sedan models from its platform, which was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, Audi’s B2 coupe has a lower roof and additional rake for its windshield. This one was finished at the factory in Gobi Beige Metallic (LY1V), and it has pinstripes, a rear wiper, and a decklid with a spoiler as well as a coupe-script heckblende.

The car rides on a 100″ wheelbase with MacPherson struts up front and a torsion beam with a Panhard rod out back. Front disc brakes are paired with 200mm rear drums for stopping power.

Installed on four-lug hubs, the cookie-cutter 14×6″ alloy wheels have a 45mm offset, and they are mounted with 185/60 Yokohama tires.

The interior has dark brown leather, front sport seats, color-keyed carpets, manual windows, cruise control, and a four-speaker sound system with a Blaupunkt cassette stereo.

A leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts the instrument cluster, which has an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a quartz clock, while a trio of auxiliary gauges are mounted in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 32k miles.

The 2.1-liter inline-five was equipped at the factory with Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection, and it was rated at 100 horsepower and 112 lb-ft of torque when new. The engine oil and brake fluid were changed in December 2025.

Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.

The car is accompanied by an owner’s manual, a Bentley repair manual, and more than 30 pages of handwritten notes logged between 1983 and 2017, which are shown at the end of the gallery below.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
