Acer’s Predator series of hardware covers a wide range of categories, including everything from gaming desktop setups, handhelds, laptops, and apparently, scooters. Yes, that’s right—the company recently announced the launch of the Predator ES Storm Pro electric scooter at CES 2026, which comes with a bit of design DNA from Acer’s other Predator-series products.
Designed for urban commuting and mixed-terrain travel, the scooter features a 500 W rear hub motor with a peak output of 1,200 W and a 48 V electrical system. It’s also equipped with a 614 Wh battery which offers a maximum riding range of up to 65 km on a single charge, in addition to a Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS), an electronic Anti-lock Braking System (eABS), and a rear disc brake.

Weighing at 22.5kg, the ES Storm Pro comes with a foldable design that uses aluminum, and comes with 10-inch tubeless pneumatic tires, as well as a suspension system featuring a front fork and dual rear spring shocks. The scooter carries an IPX5 water-resistance rating, making it suitable for use in light rain with a payload of 120kg.
The scooter does come with some smart features, such as support for the Acer eMobility app via Bluetooth.Users can set the app to monitor trip statistics, battery status, estimated remaining range, and even customize the scooter’s built-in lighting system.
It should be noted that Acer will sell slightly different based on region—the US version supports top speeds of up to 32 km/h, while the European versions are capped at 20/25kph depending on the specific country. The Predator ES Storm Pro is scheduled for release in the EMEA region in the first quarter of 2026, with a starting price of EUR 629.
